After working in the non-profit world as a professional and volunteer for over 20 years, in October of 2017, Rachel had the incredible opportunity to join Chapel Hill Carrboro Meals on Wheels, now known as Meals on Wheels Orange County, NC, as Executive Director. She could not pass up the chance to work with such a great organization directly serving some of the most vulnerable in her community. When not busy at work or volunteering, Rachel can be found out on a run or thinking about her next adventure, whether out on a trail, visiting the next National Park she always hoped to visit, or dreaming up a trip abroad. She is the mother of three almost fully grown humans and currently resides in rural Orange County with her spouse, two dogs, and numerous chickens.
