Driving and delivering meals for almost two years taught me how valuable a service MOW provides to its many appreciative recipients. Volunteering also revealed what a thoughtful, creative, and dedicated organization I’d stumbled into. Joining the Board seemed the best way to advance MOW’s mission, augment my volunteer work, and leverage my experience helping to transform organizations in both the for-profit and non-profit worlds. And I don’t have to give up driving.
